Introducing Respiratory Group Clinics at Shrewton and Fovant

The Orchard Partnership is excited to announce the launch of our new NHS Respiratory Group Clinics! These sessions are a well-established way to receive your Long-Term Condition reviews in a more supportive and informative environment.

What is a Group Clinic?

A group clinic is a clinical appointment where you spend more time with your healthcare team alongside others who have similar health conditions, such as Asthma or COPD. These sessions allow you to learn from others, share tips for managing symptoms, and work together to make small but powerful changes to your health.

Key Upcoming Dates:

  • Friday 13th February: Fovant Surgery, 1:15 pm – 2:15 pm
  • Friday 27th February: Fovant Surgery, 1:15 pm – 2:15 pm

Why Should I Join?

Participating in a group clinic offers several benefits for you and your family:

  • Efficiency: This counts as your routine long-term condition review—if you attend, you do not need a separate appointment unless you feel one is necessary.
  • More Time: You get to spend up to an hour with our team, rather than a standard 10-minute slot, giving you more time to get answers to your questions.
  • Support: Meeting others in the same situation can help you feel less alone and more confident in managing your health at home.
  • Convenience: These are currently running at our Shrewton and Fovant sites, with plans to expand to all sites and offer video clinics soon.

How it Works

Before the session, you will be sent a Group Clinic Agreement and a consent form. During the clinic, you will have the chance to place your questions on a board. The clinician will then join the group for 15–20 minutes to answer those questions and conduct 1:1 reviews in a shared, confidential setting.

Please note that we maintain a strictly confidential environment. Everyone attending must agree not to share any information about other group members outside of the session.

Interested in Joining?

If you are due for an Asthma or COPD review, we will be inviting patients directly to ensure all the correct paperwork is completed. However, if you would like to find out more or request to take part, please:
